英语兼类词知识介绍：词形相似，词类易混淆

　　英语中的词类可以通过一定的构词方法实现相互转换。词类之间的转换一般有派生词、兼类词和合成词三类。

　　2.兼类词

　　2)英语中有些词的词形很相似，词性容易混淆。

　　The policeman helped the pupils across the road. (prep.)

　　警察帮助学生穿过马路。

　　Don’t across the road until the lights turn to green. (v.)

　　等转为绿灯再穿过马路。

　　He walked past my office, but didn’t come in. (prep.)

　　他经过我的办公室，但没有进来。

　　I pass the restaurant on my way to school every day. (v.)

　　我上学的路上每天经过这家餐馆。

　　What’s the weight of the fat boy? (n.)

　　这个胖男孩体重多少?

　　The lady weighedthe parcel before I paid the postage. (v.)

　　我付邮资前，那位女士称了包裹的重量。

　　They have lowerjob turnover. They have lowerlevels of attrition. (adj.)

　　工作流动率更低，员工也更专心工作。

　　The standard can be lowered but can’t be loweredwithout limit. (v.)

　　学校可以降低要求，但是这种降低是有限度的。

　　Now the gap has widened to a little more than 1%。(v.)

　　现在差距渐渐拉大，票数相差超过1%。

　　The school has provided us with a wide range of courses. (adj.)

　　学校为我们提供了范围宽广的课程。

　　3)welcome, open等词，可以兼作形容词和动词，注意使用时不要混淆词性。

　　You are welcome to our school. (adj.)

　　欢迎到我们学校来。

　　The scientists were welcomed at our school. (v.)

　　科学家们在我们学校受到欢迎。

　　The science museum is open until 7 p.m. (adj.)

　　科学博物馆一直开放到下午七点。

　　When does the museum open in the morning? (v.)

　　博物馆上午几点开门?

　　I think that you are perfect the way that you are. (adj.)

　　我觉得你这样就很完美了。

　　They perfected their plans during the day. (v.)

　　他们在白天完善了计划。
