Born in ****, I enrolled in Huazhong Univ. of Sci.&Tech. (HUST) as the youngest Chinese undergraduate in 1993. 新加坡留学申请书技巧
推荐信必须由具公信力的人撰写才有信服力。评估申请人是否具备未来发展必要的学术或专业资格。
推荐人必须诚实、真正了解申请人的学经历，且推荐信内容一切需以「事实」为依据。
推荐信内容应当与申请人所缴交其他信息中对于自己的描述「不相抵触」，而且要「相互呼应」。
避免过度笼统和陈腔滥调。
好的推荐信应当由具备相当知名度、且与申请人熟识的人撰写。申请人职场上的长官、同事、或学校里的老师是最佳人选。相处时间够久，写的推荐信才有价值。
推荐人的学术领域或技术背景最好是与申请人申请科系相同。另外亦可委托与学校当局或学校评审委员关系密切的人撰写。
好的推荐信应当可以解答学校评审委员在审查申请书时会发现的一些问题。
推荐信的重点应该放在学校评审委员最认为最重要的消息。如果你申请的科系以专业知识或实用性为主，主管或公司同侪会是比老师更好的推荐人人选。相反的，如果你申请念 Ph.D. 或以学术为主的科系，教授对于您学术资格的评估则较具可信力。
推荐人评估申请人的基准应当在推荐信中详细写出。(例如，推荐人过去五年内任教的大学中，申请人在所有教过学生当中确切的排名;或是申请人的业绩占公司前一年总营业额的百分比。
去新加坡留学的坏处
1.现实不如想象，反差较大。
现在中国大多数人对新加坡的印象非常好，如环境优美如画、国民素质良好、中英文通用等。但现实总与想象有段距离，所以许多中国学生到了新加坡后就感觉非常失望了。其实，了解一个国家，并不是一朝一夕能做到。
2.新加坡人不是中国人。
好象是句废话，但却是实话。许多中国学生到了新加坡之后发现，新加坡人对中国人的态度也不都尽如人意。
在新加坡，上了年纪的人多数对中国怀有良好的感情，但有相当一部分年轻人，特别是一些很“西化”的人对中国人很排斥。有些人甚至不屑于说汉语。这令许多中国学生感觉非常不好。其实，正是因为新加坡官方语言是英语，才能令中国学生能获得国际认可的文凭。
3.学校教育质量未必非常高。
中国学生来到新加坡后发现，新加坡人的英语带口音、教学质量也未必比国内高多少;而且，同样花一笔钱，新加坡文凭毕竟不如英美国家的管用。此外，新加坡只有两三所大学比较有名，有些学校却是打着招生的名义招工。
