五月初五是中华民族的传统节日——端午。端午又称重五节、五月节、午日节、端阳节、诗人节、天中节、女儿节和洛兰节。
端午节的主要习俗是：吃粽子、赛龙舟、女儿回娘家、比武、击球、荡秋千和吃咸蛋等。
端午节的由来是为了纪念伟大的爱国诗人：屈原。
包粽子的时候，可以包不一样的形状，例如：三角形、圆形、正方形和长方形等。粽子有咸的，有甜的，有花生的等。
