  教学目标:

  1.知识与能力目标

  在图文或场景下能用英语描述事物或场景的变化。能在真实的情景中灵活运用本节课所学内容。

  培养小组合作意识,鼓励学生仔细观察,勤于思考。

  重点难点:

  1.本课的教学重点是运用句型there wasn't there weren't there is there are描述事物或场景的变化。

  2.本课的教学难点是there wasn't there weren't there is there are句型结构的理解和运用。

  课前准备:

  1.录音机

  2.教材配套的单词卡片。

  3.教师准备一个盒子,内放有学习用具。

  教学过程:

  Step 1:Warm up

  1.Free talk.

  How many children are there in your class?

  How many boys/girls?

  How many windows/desks/chairs…?

  2.Game:

  (出示事先准备好的盒子)Look, there is a box on the desk.

  What's in the box? 请一名同学到前面来看一眼盒子里的东西,进行描述,其他同学用There be 句型猜。

  Step 2:Presentation and practice

  1. Before Listening:

  T: We know Lingling is going to go to England with Amy. Today they are going to go to the park.

  Let's study. Please open yours books and look at the pictures then answer.

  T: Where are they?

  S: Linging is in London with Sam and Amy.

  They are in a park.?

  T: What's the park like now?

  There are swings here. swing秋千,教读

  There is a pond. pond 池塘,教读

  There are ducks, too.

  2. While listening:

  听录音, 每一遍解决一个问题,可通过pairwork巩固操练。

  Q1: Does this park look different now?

  different不同的, look different看起来不同

  Yes, it does. This park is different.

  Q2: Were there any swings here before? before以前,教读

  No, there weren't.

  There weren't any swings here before.

  There weren't (以前) 没有(复数),教读。any一些(用于否定句)

  Q3:Was there a pond here before?

  No, there wasn't.

  There wasn't a pond here before.

  There wasn't (以前)没有(单数),教读。

  Q4: There was only a________. only只,仅仅,教读。

  There was only a slide. slide滑梯,教读。

  Listen, point and find“There was, There wasn't, There weren't”。

  反馈,听录音跟读划出的句子。

  Listen and repeat.

  couldn't(以前)不能,教读。

  Read in groups.

  3.After listening

  Activity book P2\ P3

  Listen and say.

  Listen and say, then practise in pairs.

  梳理,归类: now before

  there is there was

  there isn't there wasn't

  there are there were

  there aren't there weren't

  Retell.(看图)

  The park is different now.

  There weren't any swings here before.

  There was only a slide.

  There wasn't a pond here before.

  There is one now.

  There are ducks, too.

  Step 3: Consolidation and extension

  1. Practise.

  Say the phrases.

  Point the picture and say.

  Example

  A: There weren't any swings before.

  B: Now there are swings.

  2.教室的变化。

  学生观察一下教室与以前相比有哪些变化,小组讨论后反馈。

  There was/were…here.

  There wasn't/weren't…here.

  Examples

  There was a small blackboard here. Now there is a big blackboard.

  There wasn't a computer here. Now there is a computer.

  对于小学五年级学生来说,要在一节课时间内掌握“There is / are… 与There was/were…”以及否定句式的用法,并能比较熟练地运用这些句子进行描述、交际交流,其实是有一定难度的。学生不但要掌握“There be”句型在两种时态中的用法,还要能熟练地运用“before”与“now”这两个表示时间的词语。但是学生通过四年的语言学习,已经具备了一定的语言积累,能够运用所学语言知识进行话题交流、交际。我在课堂上尽量化难为易、自然过渡,并设计贴近学生生活的游戏与活动,从而激发学生的学习兴趣,顺利地掌握语言知识。
