小学英语作文:English Speaking Day
若木分享
Every week, we have an English Speaking Day. On that day, each of us has to speak English, not only the students but also the teachers.
When we get up, friends often greet each other and say: “Good morning.” During the breakfast, we talk about what we will do this day and say something interesting. Of course, we speak English. After breakfast, we go to the classroom to have lessons. There are 8 lessons every day. And the teachers tell us that we must work hard. So at 7a.m., we begin to read English books. We don’t stop until 7:30. It’s a good way for us to improve our English.
What is the most interesting thing on English Speaking Day? Yes, when we have other lessons, we also can hear English words. It is different from other days, and we students are interested in them. In our oral English lesson our friend George comes in. He is from Canada and he is a happy man. He says he is learning Chinese, but he often makes mistakes, He hopes we can help him. So we are his teachers too. George likes to tell us something new in Canada and how to celebrate Christmas Day there. I think Father Christmas is a generous man. I hope to get some presents from him. On Christmas Eve, I will put my stockings at the end of the bed as well. Some students say they are worried about Father Christmas, he is old, it is dangerous to climb down the chimneys. Maybe he wants somebody else to help him. What a funny idea!
It’s my English Speaking -Day. I love my English Speaking –Day.
