B: At first I thought it was great. It started out really interesting, but it just dragged on and on, with no real purpose or meaning. I thought it would never end.

B: We had a great time going to shows and gambling all night. It’s hard to come home; Kansas City seems pretty tame by comparison.

B: Well, you’re going to be disappointed to find that although his books are interesting, his lectures are quite tedious. He talks in a monotone, repeats himself, and usually ends class a half-hour late.

B: 那你会失望的。他写的书挺有意思,可他的课却又臭又长。他说话的声音单调,爱重复,还常推迟半小时下课。
