　　A hippo lives in the zoo. I like him very much. I often go to see him. He often thinks of me, too. Today is Sunday. It is a fine day. I go to see him again. After I leave the zoo, he follows me to my house. I give him lettuce, cabbages, bananas, apples and other food. He eats them up. When I sing songs, he stays in the pool. He is as quiet as a rabbit.

　　In the evening,he jumps onto my bed with me. My mum tells him to go home. He has to pack his bag and go back to the zoo. My mum lets me see him every week.

　　我离开动物园时，它跟着我来到了我的家。我给它吃生菜、卷心菜、香蕉、苹果等食物，它吃得干干净净。当我唱歌时，它就待在泳池里，安安静静的，就像一只小兔子。

　　到了晚上，它就跳上我的床和我一起睡。妈妈告诉它让它回家，它不得不收拾好自己的东西回了动物园。我妈妈让我每周都去看望它。
