Dear _,
My name is __, female, 18 years old this year, and I am a student in Class 1 of Grade Three of the First Middle School in __ Province __ County. After many years of study and life, and continuous growth and progress, today, I am finally facing an important life choice just like those big brothers and big sisters who have entered the ideal university. Here, I would like to thank the leaders and teachers of the university for providing this precious opportunity for self-recommendation and self-selection to the students including me!
Regarding this, I am both excited and a little nervous. The excitement is that after repeated thinking, I finally made up my mind to apply for the ideal university in my mind-the determination of the university; what is worrying is whether the "ugly duckling" like me can be recognized by a first-class university like the university?
I grew up in a happy family. Both my parents came out of the countryside. I am now a government worker in the small county town of Shandong where I live. They have the simplicity, kindness, hard work, optimism, and enterprising of Shandong people, especially rural people. Traditional Virtues. Good tutoring makes me a lively, cute, sensible and hardworking girl. In my studies, I have maintained excellent grades from elementary school to high school, and I didn’t have to worry too much about my parents; in daily life, I developed the habit of self-care and self-reliance since I was a child, and I did not become a "Jiao Miss"; in school , I have a wide range of hobbies, actively participate in various cultural and sports activities, have been a class leader for a long time, enthusiastic about collective affairs, and actively help other students. When I was in high school, I was developed by the school party organization as a reserve party member, and I did not become a selfish “cheerful”.
In my spare time, I like to read (maybe influenced by my dad, I read a lot of ancient and modern Chinese and foreign masterpieces). Through reading, I have learned some humanities, history, natural scenery, ancient and modern China and foreign countries, broadened my horizons, enriched my thinking, and saved me Become a "nerd". I have won honorary titles successively. The above is me-a self-portrait of a sketch of "The Ugly Duckling".
The reason why I chose to apply for the university is not only because the university is located in Hangzhou, which is known as "the heavens above, Suzhou and Hangzhou". I can wander on the banks of the West Lake and enjoy the south of the Yangtze River during my university years. Lingshan and beautiful water, fully accept the nourishment of Jiangnan culture; not only because _ university is a key university in the world, with first-class teaching equipment and teaching staff, where you can receive the best university education, and get a good job after graduation; more The important thing is that the university has a long and profound humanistic history. Zhu Kezhen, Ma Yinchu, Su Buqing, Qian Sanqiang, Wang Ganchang, Bei Shizhang, Tan Jiazhen, Jiang Liangfu, Li Zhengdao, Wu Jianxiong, Lu Yongxiang... this is the only one. The name of a familiar master made me yearning. I remembered a text in the junior high school textbook, saying that the meteorologist Zhu Kezhen insisted on keeping a meteorological diary one day before his death. Strict scholars have served as presidents, and the school motto of "seeking truth and innovation" which is inherited and rich in connotation is inevitable. "The sky is healthy, the gentleman strives for self-improvement; the terrain is great, the gentleman carries things with virtue." A person can not only be satisfied with the enjoyment of material life, but also has the ideal feeling of "penniless and worrying about the world". I believe that here I can listen to the voices of history, understand the teachings of masters, and cultivate a humanistic spirit that will last a lifetime. I am studying liberal arts, and I am very longing to enter a university with profound humanities and cultural heritage.
"The bridal chamber stopped red candles last night, and waited until the morning hall to worship uncle and aunt. Make-up and whispered to her husband-in-law, is the thrush dark and light?" At this time, I also felt as uneasy as the new daughter-in-law meeting the in-laws, and sincerely accepted_University Leaders And the teacher's scrutiny. "God rewards hard work", I believe that after my hard work, my wish will be realized.
Thanks again to the leaders and teachers of the university!
Yours sincerely,
xuexila
