1、应试材料的准备
为了准备口语考试，可以准备一些材料，如 、《英语中级口语教程》《四、六级英语口语应试》等。当然如果了解口语考试的形式与内容，选择针对其考试的口语材料更为有效。
2、制定复习计划
可以每天准备一个话题，话题的内容最好是热门话题或口试常考的话题，常见热门话题总结如下：Laid-off workers problem、Reforms of housing policy 、Going abroad 、 Globalization 、 Information age 、 Environmental protection and economic development 、Online learning 、Economic crisis 。
热点话题在报纸、杂志上大多可以找到，也是很多考试写作部分常出的题目，因此也可以参照考研或四、六级作文范文。但切忌全篇背诵所找到的材料，最好只借用其中某些素材，然后用自己的语言重新整理。
3、熟悉考场情况与考试流程
(1)进入考场：入室前要敲门，接着向考官问候，好的开始是成功的一半，虽不起眼但关系到你给考官的第一印象。
(2)自我介绍：要求简洁、有新意，能够让考官微笑，但绝不可勉强。最重要的是，发音要准，不要太快，以别人听懂为目的。但注意一定要听考官的指示语，听到考官说：Can you introduce yourself briefly/ say something about yourself 后再开始。
其实现在许多口语考试为了避免考生背诵准备好的自我介绍，都去除了这个部分，而是由一些简单问题来代替，如：Where are you from?Could you say something about your hometown/Could you say something about your family/What do you usually do in your leisure time? 等。
(3)回答考官问题：此处不再赘述，但有一点要强调，回答问题要加上你的 reason，千万不要只回答“YES”或“NO”
(4)讨论：此处要适当表达自己的观点、看法，但一定要注意表达方式，要不偏激、中立客观的看待问题。discussion 在考试中占了很大一部分时间。
(5)最后问题：建议最后一个考官的问题要尽可能多说，但要保证说到点子上。这是你进一步展示自己的大好机会，如果前面答题不太理想，也可借此补救一下。
(6)结束：考官明确说出：This is the end of the test thank you.说明考试正式结束。站起来，拿好自己的东西与考官说再见：Thank you goodbye. 或 Thank you for your interview, goodbye，然后离开。注意考试结束后不要问老师关于得分的问题，应该马上礼貌的离开。

I major in International Trade and have great interest in it. International trade currently become increasingly important in the world of globalization, and those companies desirous to file themselves into the international market and have to confront plenty of issues.
Thus, corresponding emphasis have been put on these issues in this field. But during my college study and internship period, I have found I have many to study, so it is very necessary and urgent for me to grasp firmly and comprehensively the relevant knowledge of international trade.
That is why I chose this major. Now I look forward to enriching my scope in this field in our university.
5、Why do you change your major?
为什么跨专业?这是跨专业考研同学几乎必背的一个问题，多说报考专业的未来发展，少说原专业不合适。
I show keen interest in the (报考专业) studies, 报考方向 in particular, even though my major is 原专业. You might ask me why, well, let’s tell you like this. 原专业 are too abstract, full of terms, far away from the real world. I don’t mean that 原专业 is useless.
But 报考专业 studies seem more challenging, and promising for my future career. My plan is like this: start my work in a 相关行业 firm and work as a 专业人士 so that I can try my best to help the clients, who they’re and where they’re from, whether they’re rich or poor.
