The whole world is short of energy. Saving the energy is very important. As a student, we can do a lot in our daily life.
For example, we should keep the light off when we don’t use it. We should take a shower instead of bath to save water. Don’t keep the tap running when you wash your face or brush your teeth. When we go shopping, we can take cloth bags instead of using plastic bags. Many people write on only one side of their paper. Why not try using both? To save the energy, we should also reduce pollution. Recycling old newspapers, glasses, cans and waste paper is also a good idea.

How my school life has changed
My school life has changed a lot since this term. We don’t need to get to school early. We begin our lessons at eight o’clock. We can get enough sleep.
At school we have at least one hour for sports to relax ourselves every day. After the second class we do morning exercises. After that we usually kick Jianzi or skip rope. In the afternoon, we can do different kinds of sports. Some play basketball, some play football, others run on the play ground.
After school, we don’t have too much homework to do. We have lots of free time. We can do what we like. We can take part in many after-school activities.
In a word, we are happier and healthier than before.

A survey about smokers in a middle school tells that although 90% of all students never smoke, 3% of them often smoke and 7% sometimes do. In other words, 10% of the students smoke. That's terrible.
As we know, smoking is harmful to our health. Every year, thousands of people lose their lives because of it. Smoking not only does harm to your health, but also wastes money. Because, a fire may be caused by cigarette ends. It's a pity to learn that one ends in death by smoking.
In all, smoking is so dangerous that we should keep away from it.

Now when I look back on the failing exam, I think it is not a big deal.

Haze is air pollution in which is mixed up with dust, smoke and other dry particles ,and it obscure the clarity of the sky and interacts with the natural environment.
This kind of air pollutant come from a variety of natural and manmade sources. Natural sources can include windblown dust, and soot from wildfires. Manmade sources can include motor vehicles, and industrial fuel burning, and manufacturing operations. The one of the main cause that touches off haze is manufacturing operations. Many factories were over measure produced the smog that had over the standard and the smog seriously influence the air become air pollution.
The components that make up haze may have negative effect on people's health especially that of the children and the elderly. Also not excluded are those who have certain diseases such as asthma, allergy, and pneumonia and lung disease. Workers working in the open air have a high risk in their health.
One of effective solutions to help eliminate haze is to make some chemistry changes during the manufacturing process,so it could reduce harmful emissions which are produced by manufacturing operations.
