spring, the sweet spring, is the year's pleasant king;
then blooms each thing, then maids dance in a ring,
cold doth not sting, the pretty birds do sing,
cuckoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to-witta-woo!
春，甘美之春，一年之中的尧舜，
处处都有花树，都有女儿环舞，
微寒但觉清和，佳禽争着唱歌，
