英语中怎样写出地道的作文

　　编者按：我们与欧美人交流时，经常会发现一种情况：我们和他们同样表述一个事情，他们总是以简洁灵活的英语句子表达出来，而我们更多时候以繁琐的英文句子表达，还是Chinese句子。

　　例如：

　　我们要表达“两个学校之间的关系看起来不错”，最常见的写法是“Two schools seem to have a good relationship with each other.”，however，英语母语者可能会写成“Two schools seem to get along with each other.”。

　　我们要表达“在线学习正在变得越来越流行”，最常见的写法“Online learning is becoming more and more popular.”，however，老外可有会写成“Online learning is all the rage.”相似的现象数不胜数，为了进一步探讨此问题，我们找了英语作文中两段落，大家比较一下：

　　中国学生写的段落：

　　Nowadays, with the quick development ofcomputer technology and society, the style of learning being changed. There aresome people who think that learning at school for children should be much better than online learning. Others argue that children who are taught by using online learning as well as become more useful adults. There are advantages and disadvantages for both of the arguments.

　　外教写的段落：

　　In the days that followed I explored a dozen lonely coves and rocky shores in my canoe and drove to Lastovo town, a place of ornate chimneys and evocative ruins. In the evenings Isat on the wall and watched the rotors of my giant cosmic helicopter. I was beginning to feel lost to Lastovo.I wanted to become a lotus-eater and stay forever. On my last day, Mladin had mended his spear and we met again at a remote and lovely inlet. We swam out.Mladin was hungry. I followed him. With mesmerising speed he speared three octopuses and bagged them, still alive. Back on the beach he got them out. They were squealing in fear and alarm,struggling to get back to the sea.

　　可以清楚地看出，第二篇文章写得更加地道，这种地道性表现在短语、句型的灵活运用上。文章中出现了像“a dozen lonely coves androcky shores”，“I was beginning to feel lost to Lastovo”，“With mesmerising speed”，“They were squealing infear and alarm, struggling to get back to the sea.”等是英语母语人士频繁使用的，然而中国学生较少使用这些地道的表达。在英语写作中，如果能适当地使用一些类似的短评或者句型，将极大的提升英语作文的水准。

　　那么，如何储备这些地道句子呢?

　　广泛地阅读英语外刊，是一种高效的方法。我们通过精读英语外刊，可以熟悉欧美国家的西方文化，扩大知识面，了解世界发展与变化，更为重要的是可以储备欧美人士经常运用的经典词汇、短语或者词组、句型，有助于我们写出地道的英语句子。

　　例如：

　　想要表达“我们在那里见到成千上万的海豚，正在疯狂进食。”很多人会写成：“Inthere we saw thousands of dolphins and they ate food. ”

　　然而，知名外刊《卫报》(The Guardian)中有这样的表达：“I’ve seen dolphins herd thousands of fish in there and then go crazyeating them.”

　　对比而言，一幅活生生的美丽画图，跃然纸上。

　　其实，类似的地道英语句子，在英语外刊上随处可见。我们可以通过精读外刊，积累这些地道的表达，现在或将来应用到我们的英语作文上，大概率地提升英语写作水平。
